The Vivolink VLHDMIMAT8X8 is a professional 8×8 HDMI 2.0 matrix switcher designed for demanding AV installations where reliable 4K video distribution and flexible audio routing are essential.
The matrix supports up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 with HDR10 and Dolby Vision compatibility, while also supporting HDCP 2.3 for modern professional AV environments. With integrated audio matrix functionality, the unit allows audio de-embedding from any HDMI input or output to both analogue and digital audio outputs.
VLHDMIMAT8X8 includes advanced EDID management, comprehensive HDCP handling and multiple control options including front panel, IR, RS232 and TCP/IP control, making it ideal for integration into professional AV control systems.
The last four HDMI outputs support integrated 4K to 1080p downscaling, making the matrix highly flexible in mixed-resolution installations where both 4K and Full HD displays are used simultaneously.
The matrix also supports Active Optical HDMI cables (AOC) with HDMI power output up to 5V/500mA, helping ensure stable long-distance HDMI installations.
